Phoenix College-A.C.E. Program
Minimize

Recently, Phoenix College sent out 120 acceptance invitation letters to students who had applied to their A.C.E. program city-wide. SSA- Phoenix students were awarded two of those coveted seats. Two sophomores were selected to interview for the highly prized seats. Phoenix College further bestowed honors upon SSA by selecting a ninth grader and three eighth graders to their first ever 2010 class of Jr. A.C.E. students. These students were selected along with 76 other students throughout the greater Phoenix area. And, as if this was not enough recognition, Phoenix College also selected eight alternates to represent the community college; three freshmen and six eighth graders. Principal Deniz and Vice Principal Ozel have both expressed their gratitude and appreciation for a job well done as they recognized the hard work and dedication exhibited by all the students who applied to the program. Asst. Principal Ozel went on to say, “I congratulate the commitment made by all our students as they live up to our school’s mission statement of striving towards a college education. This is the first of many steps to come. Also, I would like to thank Mr. Drummond for his major role in this opportunity for our students.”
