When Sonoran Science Academy’s founders were contemplating the reality of this institution some years ago, their main concern was the quality of education children were receiving in Arizona Schools. These founders, members of our community and scientists wanted to create an environment where students could reach their full potential and competitively compete with their peers in the job place.
Since then SSA continues to grow, not just in numbers but also by honorary distinctions across the state and nationwide. We continue to win local state and national awards and receive accolades from the academia and private sector. Our teaching techniques have created a curriculum that exposes students to an enriched science, math and technology nucleus, while providing a variety of superior liberal arts and elective courses. Dedicated teachers are committed to ensuring that every SSA Students will achieve his or her full potential.
