SSA-DM received JUDGE'S AWARD

South region tournament was held at Wakefield Middle School last saturday. SSA-DM's Lego Team put a lot of time and effort into this competition. This was the very first competition of SSA-DM's. SSA was selected as the "Charter School of the Year"

We can't express how happy we are to learn that SSA has been selected as the "School of the Year" in Arizona for 2009.  Yes, that's right: SSA has earned the honor of being the "Charter School of the Year" by Arizona Charter School Association. Among 500 charter schools, SSA has proven itself academically, and most importantly, by its passionate dedication on student achievement. We could not have done it without your support! The kudos and credits of this honor go to our dedicated teaching faculty, staff, parents, students and school leadership. As SSA family, we are committed to continuously improve our educational programs and curricular instruction by seeking new ways to achieve higher levels of learning for our students. POSTER CONTEST

On Tuesday, November 10th, SSA Davis Monthan sponsored a Poster Contest for students in recognition of Veteran's Day. Students are also allowed to dress up in military clothes. The winners received a $50 gift card.The winner and honorary mention posters are being exhibited at the entrance of the school.
